On the morning of January 20, in a planting base in Zhongshan's Tanzhou Town, flower growers were busy packing and loading potted New Year flowers and orange trees.

After customs inspection, trucks loaded with over 1,300 pots of flowers and trees started heading to Macao, bringing New Year vibe and blessings to Macao people.

This year, the Macao market still has strong demand for Spring Festival-themed plants. According to Li Jianqiang, owner of the planting base, they transport 4-7 trucks plants to Macao every day on average these days.

Since January 1, a total of 98 batches of seedlings flowers have been supplied to Macao under the supervision of Zhongshan Customs, up 62.8% from the same period last year.
