On the morning of December 29, 2022, the first micro self-renovation project in Zhongshan's state-owned assets system was launched at Nanfeng Industrial Park, South District.

Nanfeng Industrial Park will be jointly renovated by Zhongshan Xingzhong Group and Zhongshan City Construction Group, and the renovation will be implemented in two phases. Phase 1 is to demolish the zinc iron plant buildings and renovate the existing 37,000-square-meter plant buildings, including facade renewal, landscaping and road construction. Phase 2 is to construct about 25,000 square meters of high-standard plant buildings on the space vacated after the demolition. Investment promotion will come in parallel with plant renovation. Outstanding projects matching Xingzhong Group's two primary business sectors - food and energy - will be introduced to promote the transformation and development of the park, expand business scale, and make full use of land.
