On January 28, the first working day after the Spring Festival, Zhongshan held a conference on high-quality development soon after watching the provincial high-quality development conference, aiming to make an all-out effort to boost high-quality development and achieve new results.

Heads of all towns and districts, as well as representatives of relevant departments and entrepreneurs delivered speeches through videos. More than 20,000 persons, including representatives of over 5,000 enterprises in Zhongshan, attended the meeting in-person or via video link.

At the conference, Guo Wenhai, secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee, stressed that Zhongshan will strive for several major goals: to achieve GDP growth of 6%, to increase industrial investment by 60%, to promote the digital transformation and upgrading of 500 enterprises, and to attract a total investment of 100 billion yuan for new projects with supplied land.

The enterprises that won the 2022 Guangdong Quality Nominee Awards Awards, Zhongshan Quality Awards and Zhongshan Quality Nominee Awards as well as the top 30 key industrial enterprises by tax payment were presented honorary plaques at the conference.
