Zhongshan added 75,252 individual businesses in 2022, up 28.43% year on year, ranking first in Guangdong in terms of growth.

In 2022, Zhongshan was the first in Guangdong to establish an interdepartmental joint meeting system in support of the development of individual businesses, and put forward 33 concrete support measures for individual businesses.

Over the years, Zhongshan has helped 30,086 individual businesses transform into and upgrade to enterprises, increasing the proportion of enterprises to market entities by 20.23%.

So far, there are more than 330,000 individual businesses in Zhongshan, which have created a total of more than 800,000 jobs.
