Xiao Zhanxin, mayor of Zhongshan, met with Li Yingfeng, deputy Party secretary and president of Shenzhen Energy Corporation (Shenzhen Energy) on February 15. The two sides exchanged ideas on further strengthening cooperation.

Xiao welcomed Li on behalf of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and the Zhongshan People's Government. He said Zhongshan would spare no efforts to serve Shenzhen Energy's investment in Zhongshan, hoping the company would bring more good resources, ideas, experience, technologies and cooperation models to Zhongshan, provide energy guarantee for the development of Zhongshan's manufacturing sector and the renovation of gas pipe networks in old residential communities, and improve the quality and stability of energy supply, so as to promote the high-quality development of Zhongshan.

Li expressed his gratitude to Zhongshan for its attention and support to Shenzhen Energy, and introduced Shenzhen Energy's development history and business layout. He said the company would leverage its resource advantage in electric power, environmental protection, gas and other new energy sectors, explore in-depth cooperation with Zhongshan in centralized heating, comprehensive energy and other areas, ensure energy supply for the well-being of the people, and serve the high-quality development of the manufacturing sector. He expected the projects to start and yield results as early as possible.
