The 2023 Guangdong Conference on High-quality Development of Garment Industry & 4th General Assembly of the 7th Guangdong Garment Industry Association (GGIA) were held in Shaxi Town on April 23, with the participation of nearly 300 member enterprises of GGIA.

That morning, member entrepreneurs of GGIA from around the country visited such clothing enterprises as Yoye Wisdom, Tonvex Garment, Royal Family and Lixing Garment to learn about Shaxi's garment industry.

At the conference that afternoon, GGIA reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Liaoning Textile and Garment Association, and Shenyang Skyjet Digital Printing Equipment Co Ltd. Powered by Skyjet's global invention patent, "double-sided digital printing", the three sides will jointly promote the high-quality development and transformation of the textile and garment industry, accelerate the construction of the "double-sided digital printing base", and speed up resources integration.

"The establishment of Skyjet's only domestic base in Shaxi will better boost the development of the local knitting industry and attract more high-end resources to Shaxi," said Xu Chengbin, Party secretary of Shaxi Town.
