Zhongshan's public security organs on May 14 held an event in Shiqi District under the theme of "Protecting Enterprises and Purifying Business Environment", hoping to arouse the awareness of combating and preventing economic crimes. The achievements of the special campaign were showcased at the event, and funds and property recovered from solved criminal cases were returned.

The event also included an achievement exhibition, an award-winning quiz and a garden party. With focus on illegal fundraising, online pyramid selling and other prominent economic crimes, the event introduced new means, forms and features of economic crimes to the public, exposed financial frauds, analyzed typical cases and taught the essentials of prevention.

In the first four months of this year, Zhongshan's public security organs at all levels carried out the special campaign and recovered a total of 42.38 million yuan in losses for enterprises. Besides, 115 cases of enterprise infringement have been solved since the beginning of this year, which effectively safeguard the lawful rights and interests of enterprises in Zhongshan.
