The signing ceremony of the settlement of the ISO/TC 336 project (a branch of ISO/TC 336 Laboratory design) was held in Zhongshan's Torch Development Zone on May 15. Under the agreement, the two sides will carry out all-round cooperation in a wide range of fields such as the setting of technical standards for laboratory design, project introduction and talent training.

ISO/TC is a global platform for standard and innovation exchanges. The settlement of the ISO/TC 336 project and the joint construction of an R&D, manufacturing, testing and certification industrial park for high-end laboratory instruments and equipment in Zhongshan are of strategic importance to the city in terms of accelerating the establishment of a standard system compatible with international development and industrial development.

The project will also help Zhongshan build an international standardization talent training base, bring in the first international technical organization ever, and gain a say in international standard setting for local enterprises.
