Guzhen Town held a signing ceremony for key projects on July 6, at which 9 investment projects were signed for settlement in the town, including CHN Energy (Guangdong) Guzhen Energy Storage, Hua Zhiyun Flower World Eco-Industrial Park, Metaverse Lighting Industrial Park, Shanghai Centritop Digital Economy Empowerment Center, etc.

With a total investment of 8 billion yuan and a land area of over 900 mu, these projects cover a wide range of fields, such as bio-medicine, next-generation information technology and new energy. At full capacity, they are expected to generate an output value of 20 billion yuan per year.

Among these projects, Digital Economy Empowerment Center is funded by Shanghai Centritop Group. Founded in 2020, the company is engaged in the innovation sophisticated technology and the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, offering services in cloud computing equipment manufacturing, sales and technical support. It has invested in 5 high-tech companies overseas. The company proposes to invest in a digital economy empowerment center in Guzhen, which can provide complete sets of solutions for the digital transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.

To promote the high-quality development of Guzhen, China Construction Bank Zhongshan Branch signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guzhen to extend a credit of up to 10 billion yuan on the same day.
