On the morning of July 13, two projects in Huangpu broke ground in Dacen Village under the Dayan Bridge. They are Weijin's intelligent home appliances production base and Hengfa's intelligent manufacturing industrial park.

Invested 100 million yuan by Zhongshan Weijin Electrical Appliance & Burner Co, the Weijin production base has a land area of 15 mu and a planned floor area of 35,800 square meters. The park, with a smart home appliances R&D center, production and warehousing buildings, office and dormitory buildings and a staff canteen, will mainly produce electric ovens, air ovens, multi-head stoves and other home appliances.

As a key enterprise that has operated in Huangpu Town for years, Weijin mainly develops, produces and sells electrical appliances and accessories, as well as imports and exports goods and technologies. "After moving into the base, we will have 8 production lines and 400 employees in total, and the annual output value is expected to reach 350 million yuan," said Li Zijian, general manager of Weijin.

With a total investment of 100 million yuan, the Hengfa industrial park has a land area of 16.4 mu and a floor area of 42,000 square meters. Upon completion, its estimated output value will exceed 300 million yuan per year. The park will include an R&D center, an intelligent manufacturing base and other facilities.

Established in 2013, Hengfa is a national high-tech enterprise engaged in the R&D, production and sales of heat exchangers. The company built its factory in Nantou Town in the early days and moved to Huangpu Town five years ago.
