The demotion of the first phase of a low-efficiency industrial park in Xiqu Community, Xiaolan Town started on August 1, marking the end of the historical mission of 18 zinc-iron shed workshops.

Covering a land area of 65 mu, the Zhenxilu Industrial Park which had 18 buildings was mainly engaged in traditional textile and metal processing.

The renovation includes to build 12 new high-standard industrial plants, with a total floor area of about 136,000 square meters.

The renovation will be carried out in three phases, and the first phase includes building two 7-story high-standard industrial plants starting February 2024.

Upon completion, the new park is expected to generate an annual rental income of 25 million yuan and an annual output value of 273 million yuan. The market value of the property is estimated at 240 million yuan.
