The Zhongshan Economic and Trade Promotion Conference for High-quality Development of Taiwan-funded Enterprises, one of the activities of the 5th Zhongshan Cross-Strait Forum, was held on September 8. Over 300 guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait attended to discuss new opportunities in Zhongshan.

At the conference, Torch Development Zone, Cuiheng New District and East District delivered speeches to showcase their investment environments and business opportunities respectively.

Zhang Congyuan, chairman of Huali Group, shared his stories of doing business in Zhongshan, a promising land for investment. He believes Zhongshan is a vibrant center for innovation and entrepreneurship, boasting rich historical and cultural heritage, picturesque natural environment, evident geographical advantages, favorable business environment, and vast future development prospects.

The event witnessed the signing of 9 investment promotion and cooperation projects, with a total investment of over 7 billion yuan. These projects cover various sectors, such as new energy and smart home appliances. Zhongshan Taiwan Business Investors Social Association, Zhongshan Cross-border E-commerce Association, Hong Kong Federation of E-Commerce and CBES Group signed strategic cooperation agreements to promote cross-border e-commerce among Zhongshan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
