As of the end of September this year, the total number of market entities in Zhongshan reached 629,732, ranking seventh in Guangdong Province, with a year-on-year increase of 11.93%.

From January to September, Zhongshan has 97,549 newly registered commercial entities of various types, indicating a year-on-year increase of 6.30%. Some 11,458 were registered in September, showing a year-on-year increase of 13.42%.

All market entities in Zhongshan involve a total registered capital of 1,795.663 billion yuan, up 49.09% year-on-year. Included in this figure were state-owned and collective enterprises along with their holding companies, private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, individual businesses, and farmers' professional cooperatives. Each of these categories witnessed a growth trend, with percentages reaching 14.76%, 10.35%, 7.90%, 12.92%, and 5.29%, respectively.

By the end of September, there were 127,799 registered manufacturing commercial entities in Zhongshan, a year-on-year increase of 6.64%.
