An investment agreement was signed between Zhongshan and robotic vehicle maker Davinci Tech on January 9. The latter will invest 1.55 billion yuan to establish an electric motorcycle production base in Zhongshan, which will also serve as the company's headquarters in the Greater Bay Area.

Davinci Tech is engaged in the research and development of robotic vehicles, the core components of which, including batteries, motors and electronic controls, are independently or jointly developed by the company. Its first product, Model DC100, has obtained CCC certification. Davinci Tech's production base in Dachong Town will primarily include final assembly lines for smart electric motorcycles.

Wang Jingwei, founder and chairman of Davinci Tech, says Zhongshan's sound business environment and efficient services are impressive. Davinci Tech will spare no effort to build and put the base into use as soon as possible, so as to promote Zhongshan's high-quality economic and social development.
