Guangdong Wankezi's workshops were bustling on February 15, the sixth day of the Chinese New Year. "The company's production value totaled 1.699 billion yuan in 2023, and the target production value for 2024 will be approximately 2.2 billion yuan. We are confident enough to meet the annual target", said Zhang Changhong, production chief of Guangdong Wankezi.

Located in Torch Development Zone, Guangdong Wankezi is a subsidiary of TCL Air Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co. It covers a land area of 36,000 square meters and has more than 1,000 employees. The company mainly engages in the manufacturing and sales of intelligent controllers such as variable frequency air conditioner controllers and power panels.

Following Guangdong Wankezi, a number of enterprises in Torch Development Zone, such as Wistron, Elite Material and Huaxin Gas, have resumed production one after another, striving to make a good start for the Chinese New Year.

Up to 500 industrial enterprises above designated size in Torch Development Zone have planned to resume production by February 19.
