The 2024 Global Investment Promotion Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area opened in Guangzhou on November 8, with 1,933 projects worth 2.26 trillion yuan signed.
On November 9, an enterprise delegation of the Conference visited Zhongshan's Torch High-tech Zone and Cuiheng New District to have an in-depth understanding of the city's location advantages, business environment, industrial planning, sci-tech innovation, etc.
"I am full of confidence in Zhongshan's future development," said Li Meihua, director of Guangdong Cross-Border Supply Chain Management Limited, adding that Zhongshan has abundant industrial resources, especially in such traditional competitive sectors as textile and garment and smart household appliances. The city also has great potential for development in the international markets and is very suitable for developing cross-border e-commerce.
