Zhongshan's South District held the groundbreaking ceremony for manufacturing and industrial park renovation projects in the fourth quarter on December 15.
The seven projects started construction mainly cover fields such as high-end equipment manufacturing and next-generation information technology, with a total investment of about 1.1 billion yuan and an estimated annual output value of 1.6 billion yuan.
The ceremony took place at the Bomi Photoelectric Technology Park on the south side of Hepu Road. Covering a land area of 30.29 mu, the park has a total investment of 182 million yuan and is expected to achieve an annual output value of 360 million yuan after put into production.
Bomi Electronics Technology settled in South District in 2009. It is an enterprise specialized in the R&D, manufacturing and marketing of lighting fixtures, smart home products and laser devices. The company also maintains close ties with well-known universities and research institutions.
