In Tanzhou Town on the afternoon of January 19, Miao Yinghui, senior manager of the manufacturing center for Enterecos Technologies Co Ltd, Guangdong (Enterecos Group), shot a video with his mobile phone of staff disinfecting trucks at the rear entrance of the company and sent it to the "Epidemic Prevention Materials Transportation Support" Wechat group.
Over the past several days, Miao has sent a similar video to this WeChat group every day, as have some directors from other major enterprises in Tanzhou.
"Thanks to the support of the industry and information technology department, which opened a 'green channel for enterprises so that we were able to get the access pass as quickly as possible," said Lin Hanyong, chairman of Enterecos Group. At present, Enterecos Group is operating smoothly and able to ship out about 5,000 sets of products every day.
To counteract influences of the epidemic, relevant departments in Zhongshan have taken measures to solve difficulties in the production and operation of enterprises and reduce the adverse impact caused by the epidemic.
"Since the outbreak of COVID-19, government leaders and staff in Tanzhou Town have been constantly communicating with enterprises to help solve problems in production and goods trading," said Ruan Guobiao, director of the Tanzhou Bureau of Industrial Information, Technology and Business.
To ensure the safe and uninterrupted production of enterprises, Tanzhou Town has also set up 43 mobile nucleic acid testing sites at large enterprises to provide door-to-door services.
"Strong support from the government back up our production," Lin Hanyong said. "We will actively cooperate with the government's epidemic prevention measures so that our company can develop steadily and propel the economy of Tanzhou Town."
