An appointment ceremony was held for the Chief Environmental Consultant of Zhongshan Public Utilities Group (ZPUG) on February 17. Ye Hongguang, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and deputy mayor, issued a letter of appointment to Dr Wu Changyong, director of the Environmental Pollution Control Engineering Technology Research Center at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences.

Since Peng Yongzhen, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was appointed as the chief environmental scientist on September 17, 2021, the ZPUG Environmental Protection Technology Think Tank has introduced many industry-leading experts in the last 5 months, including chief environmental analysts and chief engineers, and now another technical expert in environmental protection has joined the team.

ZPUG has built a talent team consisting of 5 chief expert consultants, 4 doctoral degree holders, 84 master degree holders, 37 top talent, 80 talent with senior professional titles, and 945 holders of other professional titles.
