"In the first half of this year, the IGZO target materials project will be put into production, and the company is expected to achieve the annual production capacity target of 500 tons in 2023, with an annual output value of 1 billion yuan." Jin Fenghua, General Management Department chief of Zhongshan ZL Advanced Materials Technology located in Banfu Town, revealed that with the assistance of government departments in helping Korean engineers enter the country, the company has resolved the major problem in production.

As an important foreign-funded project in the city, Zhongshan ZL Advanced Materials Technology is a sino-foreign joint venture high-tech enterprise engaged in the research, production and sales of semiconductor display materials and integrated circuit chip materials.

Affected by the epidemic, Zhongshan ZL Advanced Materials Technology ran into problems importing customized equipment and in the entry of its Korean engineers. In response to the national "fast channel" policy for foreign-invested enterprises to resume work and production, the relevant departments in Zhongshan successfully completed visa procedures for inbound personnel despite the epidemic situation.

In June 2021, Zhongshan ZL Advanced Materials Technology completed its R&D building. In December 2021, the ZL IGZO target materials production base was put into trial production, and it is expected to go into official operation in 2022.
