On April 7, a ceremony was held to launch the transformation of the Haina Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, the first inefficient industrial park transformation project in Torch Development Zone (Minzhong District).

The Haina Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park has a total area of about 104 mu and is located on the south end of Yangguang Avenue and along Minzhong Expressway. After transformation, it will put forth effort to attract high-end industrial projects in such areas as advanced equipment manufacturing, electronic information technology, and new energies and new materials. It will also provide supporting facilities for the production, R&D, testing, marketing, exhibition and office use for upstream and downstream firms.

The Haina industrial park project costs a total investment of about 800 million yuan and will be built in two phases. Upon completion, its total construction area will reach 300,000 square meters (including underground garages), and its industrial output value is expected to increase from the current 20 million yuan to 1.5 billion yuan.
