A total of 56 export enterprises in Zhongshan have recently been included as sampling enterprises in the new China Export Leading Indicator (ELI) Survey by the General Customs Administration, including Wistron InfoComm Zhongshan and Guangdong Zhongshan Silk Import & Export Group.

ELI is a monthly comprehensive index that can be used to predict the export situation over the next two to three months. It is of great practical significance for improving the accuracy export situation predictions, forward-looking and scientific policies, and maintaining the steady development of the economy and trade.

Sampling enterprises fill in questionnaires as required every month to reflect on the export situation and put forward export-related problems or suggestions. Customs departments collect and analyze feedback and respond in a timely manner.

A total of 3,118 export enterprises nationwide were selected as new sampling enterprises.
