On July 11, a batch of COVID-19 antigen test kits from Zhongshan Bio-tech Co Ltd were cleared by the Shiqi Office of Zhongshan Customs and were shipped to Macao through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

"We have produced a total of 992,000 COVID-19 antigen test kits for Macao. The sudden worsening epidemic situation in Macao resulted in the increasing demand for test kits, leaving us only 7 days to deliver the goods to our client," said Yang Tao, marketing manager of Zhongshan Bio-tech. "The customs department specially set up a 'green channel' for us. From health quarantine approval to inspection then to customs clearance, everything went smoothly."

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Macao on June 19, Zhongshan Customs has set up a "green channel" for the customs clearance of epidemic prevention materials, implemented a point-to-point service mechanism, and designated special personnel to provide enterprises with guidance on how to handle the health quarantine examination and approval of entry and exit special goods, so as to ensure the smooth export of COVID-19 antigen test kits made in Zhongshan.
