On October 30, a business charter flight organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province arrived in Kuala Lumpur, capital Malaysia. A total of 24 representatives of 14 enterprises in Zhongshan took the flight. They will attend the Malaysia-China Trade Expo 2022 to be held from November 2 to 4.
The Expo covering an area of over 10,000 square meters will include exhibition areas for smart home and building materials, smart lighting, smart home appliances, smart electronic information equipment and other sectors.
The 14 exhibitors from Zhongshan are engaged in the lighting and smart home sectors, including Huayi Lighting, a comprehensive smart lighting engineering solution provider, and other well-known lighting brands, such as Won Tech, Heliang Lighting and Yali Lighting, as well as smart door lock makers including Xi'anju.
Statistics show that from January to September this year, Zhongshan's total export-import volume to Malaysia was 6.214 billion yuan (up 35.84% year-on-year), and the numbers of Zhongshan to ASEAN countries and RCEP members amounted to 27.272 billion yuan (up 24.95% year-on-year) and 52.465 billion yuan (up 17.02% year-on-year) respectively.
