"We started work on the sixth day of the Chinese New Year, and two days later got orders worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from the UAE and Jordan. Our targets for this year will be grabbing more orders to occupy markets," said Kong Linghua, general manager of Glamor Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd, adding that before the Spring Festival Glamor participated in the exhibitions in Dubai and Mexico and got orders one after another after resuming work after the holiday.
Back on January 15, Zhongshan sent a business 30-man delegation comprising representatives of 15 exhibitors and 11 others for business exchanges to Dubai for the three-day Light Middle East 2023. These enterprises got orders at the exhibition, and went into action after resuming production after the Spring Festival holiday.
Zhongshan boasts golden brands such as "Lighting Capital of China" and "Shower Room Manufacturing Base of China", and Zhongshan-made products enjoy prominent advantages in overseas markets. The exhibitors displayed products and cases that highly meet customer needs, which increased the probability of reaching preliminary agreements, according to Lu Bo, office director of the Zhongshan E-commerce Promotion Association for International Trade.
"We have been working against the clock after resuming work," said Feng Yunyi, international business chief of Huayi Lighting Co Ltd. The company's overseas market share has expanded in recent years. At the exhibition in Dubai, the company not only met some regular customers, but also reached preliminary cooperation agreements with some new ones.
