Huali Industrial Group, a company in Zhongshan, held the groundbreaking ceremony for its headquarters in Torch Development Zone on April 10.

Over 450 million yuan will be invested to construct a commercial landmark that integrates multiple business forms such as office work, high-end office buildings and commercial complexes. It is expected to generate over 7 billion yuan in revenue and contribute more than 500 million yuan in tax within the next five years.

The project covers a total land area of 17 mu (about 11,333 square meters), of which 5 mu (3,333 square meters) will be used for the headquarters building. The remaining area will be developed into greening and recreational space shared with the public.

As the world's second-largest footwear manufacturer, Huali Industrial Group is specialized in the design, development, production and sales of sports shoes. The group has over 40 subsidiaries and operates factories in places such as Vietnam and Indonesia.

In 2024, Huali Industrial Group reported operating revenues of 24.006 billion yuan, up 19.35% year-on-year.
