With the theme “Traversing ancient and modern times and leading the fashion”, China?Dachong?Rosewood Furniture Exposition 2011 opened yesterday at the Arts and Crafts Center on Kuilang Road, Dachong Town. Related leaders, more than 100 scholars, and over 600 distributors came to Dachong and witnessed the pomp and ceremony of the exhibition. In the 20,000 square-meter exhibition hall, more than 72 well-known enterprises showed products in their specially decorated booths. On the first day, 10 projects involving an amount of 680 million Yuan were signed in terms of the integration of production, teaching and research, rosewood carving machine purchase and sale contract, rosewood furniture distributor contract, and rosewood furniture raw material supply contract.

Dachong has 293 rosewood furniture manufacturers and 133 marketing enterprises, among which 29 are large-scare ones. With 6 famous brands at provincial level or above, Dachong Town is the only specialized one which won the state-level titles of “China’s Specialized Town for Rosewood Furniture Production” and “Birthplace of Chinese Rosewood Carving Arts”. It is reported that the exhibition will be extended to Mar. 20th.
