Exhibits on the fair attracts lots of citizens 

Themed with “Science promotes equipment manufacturing, shipping stimulates industrial upgrading”, the 6th Equipment Manufacturing Fair and the 1st Shipping Fair grandly opened at the International Fair Center in the Torch Development Zone.

The fair is featured by equipment manufacturing, SOEs clusters, technology innovation, industrial upgrading, industrial cluster and port development. Guangzhou Shipyard International, Guangxin Shipbuilding & Heavy Industry, CNR, Sinatrans, Mingyang Windpower and many other famous enterprises have taken part in the fair.

Equipment Manufacturing Industry is a manifestation of the level of industry, science and modernization of a city. Zhongshan in 2010 has in total 1185 equipment manufacturing enterprises, which realize total industrial output value 143.567 billion yuan, an increase of 30.9 percent year-on-year. From 2010, the cooperation between Zhongshan government and large-scale SOEs and noted private enterprises has attracted lots of investment in equipment manufacturing.
