The 10th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair and LED Application Fair will open on Oct. 18 to 21. Zhongshan government will seize the opportunity to expand influence of Guzhen lighting industry and build it into a global industrial center.

The fair, with at present 585 exhibitors subscribed for 2210 booths, will emphasize on LED application. There are 276 LED enterprises subscribing for 600 booths. The fair will also set up a special section for creative LED products. A lighting museum will also be unveiled at the same time.

According to the industrial plan of Guzhen, the lighting industry will has a production value of 40 billion yuan, 1 or 2 famous enterprises with annual sales over 5 billion yuan, 30 enterprises with annual sales over 100 million yuan. Guzhen will become a new national model of industrial demonstration base with an international marketing and e-commerce platform. Guzhen will also cooperate with financial institutions to set up investment funds with a scale of 1.4 billion yuan. In addition, 3 to 5 companies are going to be listed companies.

Recently, 4 alternative construction plans of “Light King”, with highest cost 1.27 billion and lowest 0.3 billion, are displayed at the exhibition room of Guzhen government for collecting suggestions for the construction of the commercial zone of “Light King”. The plan is going to start at the end of 2012, and the object is to make a complex commercial center with total investment of 3 billion yuan.
