The 2nd China (Zhongshan) Shower Room Expo & 1st International Bathing Culture Festival opened on 8th at Zhongshan Expo Center, attracting more than 100 famous enterprises.

As one of the four shower room enterprises clusters in China, Fusha town in Zhongshan is the only town winning the honor of China Shower Room Industrial Manufacturing Base and the market share of related products occupies over 70% in China. In 2008, Zhongshan was awarded "China Shower Room Industrial Manufacturing Base" by China National Hardware Association and the municipal government approved Fusha as the joint unit and the main body of the base construction. In 2009, the base was officially founded in Fusha town.

As an emerging industry in the building and decorative material area, the shower room industry has developed greatly in the past 20 years in Zhongshan with more than 200 shower room manufacturing enterprises, annual production of 4.5 million sets, sales revenue of nearly 1 billion yuan and export sales of 0.68 billion yuan and so on. At present, Zhongshan shower room base has become one of the biggest shower room manufacturing bases in China with an integrated industrial link of design, manufacturing, sales, service, after-sales service and trade. In addition, some large-scaled and famous enterprises have established in Zhongshan and the product quality and size has enjoyed high competitiveness in both domestic and foreign markets.

The Expo held this year will provide a wider platform for the municipal government to further support the development of the industrial base, enhance the enterprises' innovative ability and make full use of the functions of product research and development , quality inspection and talent training of the center.

On the same day, the plaque unveiling ceremony of "Guangdong Quality Supervision of Shower Room Inspection Station" was also held.
