Led by Hidde Baars, Economy Consul of Dutch Consulate in Hong Kong, and Filip Lauwerysen, Commercial Coordinator of Dutch Consulate in Guangzhou, a 4-people group visited Zhongshan and mainly investigated key strategic emerging industries of the Twelfth-Five Year Plan.

The consuls visited the Health Base of the Torch Development Zone, Mingyang Windpower and the planning pavilion of Cuiheng District. Hidde Baars mentioned that Netherland has unique advantages in windpower, creative industry and life science, which indicated a prosperous cooperative prospect with Zhongshan enterprises and industrial parks. He said that the consulate will publicize those investment opportunities to Dutch enterprises for further cooperation.
