The 28th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (GILF) opened at Zhongshan's Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on March 18. Some 82,240 people from over 120 countries and regions have signed up for the event.

"We hope to share the dividend of development and opportunities in a new era with Guzhen Town." Said Mikhail Shteynman, CPO of Russian company Pan-elektrik, at the opening ceremony.

Purchasing agent Essowani said he had sent many beautiful designs he saw to his clients far in Libya. "I expect a good market response."

Intelligent products are popular among foreign merchants. "In terms of intelligent technology, China has advantages over Italy," said Luciano Galimberti, president of Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI), adding that he looked forward to deep cooperation in design field between China and Italy in the future. "I also notice that the GILF has attached importance to sustainable development."
