The three-day 32nd China Home Appliances Fair opened on August 8 at the Huangpu International Convention & Exhibition Center, attracting more than 500 enterprises.
This year's fair features five pavilions, including two for brand image display, two for home appliances, and one for kitchen, bathroom and smart home appliances.
Sors is a brand targeting the domestic market under Zhengmei Group, a 28-year-old local enterprise in Huangpu Town. In Sors' stylish, open kitchen-like exhibition area that is equipped with ovens and range hoods, flocks of buyers are attracted by the freshly made soup and dishes.
The company takes part in the China Home Appliances Fair every year to unveil its new products, says general manager Wang Xinbiao. This year, some of Sors' clients come from Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang. They will learn about the products at the fair and visit Sors' factories for further negotiations.
This year, up to 60,000 people are expected to visit to the fair, according to the organizer.
Huangpu is one of China's home appliances manufacturing bases, and about 70% of its output value of household appliances comes from smart kitchen appliances. In 2022, Huangpu's total output value of home appliances stood at 42.1 billion yuan, accounting for 84% of its gross industrial output value.
