The Zhongshan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology recently issued a set of implementation rules for funding enterprises to carry out technical reform. The rules propose that Zhongshan will put efforts in guiding over 2,400 enterprises to carry out technical reform within four years.
The rules stipulate that the funding will cover technical reform projects of Zhongshan-based enterprises in terms of capital increase and production expansion, equipment renewal, green development, digital and intelligent upgrading, and etc. The rules also specify corresponding requirements for the total investment amount, construction site, and filing and approval processes of these projects.
For eligible technical reform projects, there are four types of funding:
First, for major technical reform projects with a total investment of 500 million yuan or more, each will be granted a maximum reward of 20 million yuan, covering no more than 20% of the cost of newly purchased equipment and systems.
Second, for technical reform projects implemented by leading enterprises, leading manufacturers, industrial headquarters enterprises, key industry chain owner enterprises, and national and provincial manufacturing single champion enterprises, each will be granted a maximum reward of 10 million yuan, covering no more than 20% of the cost of newly purchased equipment and systems.
Third, for technical reform projects implemented by national SRDI "little giant" enterprises and provincial SRDI SMEs, each will be granted a maximum reward of 8 million yuan, covering no more than 15% of the cost of newly purchased equipment and systems.
And fourth, for technical reform projects implemented by general enterprises, each will be granted a maximum reward of 6 million yuan, covering no more than 10% of the cost of newly purchased equipment and systems.
Meanwhile, for projects have been included in the digital and intelligent upgrading library of the manufacturing industry, each will be granted an extra reward.
