An investment attraction fair of the South District has been held on 18th. 13 quality projects has been signed with investment 3.72 billion yuan.

The investment attraction of the South District is featured by expanding projects, elevator projects and new energy industry. 3 of the 8 industrial projects are elevator projects: ThyssenKrupp and Kori expand their investment and Po shing elevator is newly introduced. Huadian Science & Technology Lighting and Three Eagle Biological Energy are engaging in R&D and production of energy-saving and environment-friendly products. 5 tertiary projects attracted 2.8 billion yuan, accounting for more than 75% of the total.

The fair also awards 31 enterprises which made outstanding contributions on brands promotion, technical innovation and foreign trade. The awards are totaled 2.89 million yuan.

Feng Shusheng, Party Secretary of the Torch High-tech Zone hoped that the South District make efforts on choosing favorable industry, introducing leading enterprises, expanding industrial group, especially the development of the National Elevator Industrial Base.
