With a land area of 72 square kilometers and total population of 157, 000, Sanjiao town is located in the northeast of Zhongshan and it has greatly developed since the reforming and opening. In 2011, GDP, gross industrial output value and foreign trade export value of the town reached 6.65 billion yuan, 19.82 billion yuan and US$0.76 billion respectively, making the town rank top among all the towns in various aspects, such as actual use of foreign investment, export value and tax revenue and so on.
