Sun Yat-sen University and Guzhen town government signed a cooperation agreement together recently to jointly study and make lighting industrial development planning for the town by setting up academician workstations to provide talents and technological supports.

According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly carry out various produce-learn-research projects. In order to better solve the key technological problems in the industrial development, Sun Yat-sen university will set up "academician workstation", "commissioner work station", "Sun Yat-sen University (Guzhen) Semiconductor Lighting Technology Research Center" and help the town establish "Guangdong (Guzhen) Modern Lighting Industrial Technology Innovation Union".
