Mayor Chen Liangxian leads a team to investigate and make research on tourism development in Sanxiang and Shenwan on the afternoon of 5th. Chen stresses that all the towns should integrate their resources to build high-end tourism brand.

Sanxiang is one of the towns with advanced industry in south Zhongshan. In recent years, the town is accelerating the development of service industry while speeding up industrial transforming and upgrading. The town mainly boasts with its rich historical and cultural tourism resources. Shenwan is located near mountains and rivers and is outlining its developing blueprint by stressing on the building of “Tourism and recreation center, logistics center, yacht industry base and ecological agricultural base”. Chen encourages Shenwan to strive to develop tourism and yacht industry by taking advantage of the favorable geographic location.

Chen emphasizes on the integration of tourism resources among towns and districts in Zhongshan, and also requires departments related to tourism to seek for highlights and build high-end tourism brand of Zhongshan.
