A ceremony was held in Minzhong Sub-district on November 11 to break ground on key industrial projects in Torch Development Zone. Five projects that received construction permits recently through the "project construction quick start" campaign started construction at the same time, and another 12 key projects were signed during the ceremony. Guo Wenhai, secretary of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee and Xiao Zhanxin, mayor of Zhongshan attended the ceremony.

The five projects, with a total investment of nearly 3 billion yuan, feature such areas as intelligent manufacturing, intelligent security, smart electrical appliances, CNC machining and fine construction materials.

The 5 key projects include the Hongmen Machinery & Electrical Equipment Industrial Park, the Deyouxin Intelligent Logistics Equipment Base, the Shenzhen Seiken Technology Precision Equipment Project, the Kong Luen Wah Hoi Smart Electrical Appliance Project, and the Maji Chip CNC Equipment Project. From the time of the land auction to receiving the land planning permit, real estate registration permi, planning permit and construction permit, the fastest process took 16 minutes while the slowest still only took 40 minutes.
