On the afternoon of December 8th, the commencement ceremony was held for 4 projects in inefficient industrial clusters in Torch Development Zone, including Zhongshan Luhua Medical Treatment Instruments, Liansu Cross-Strait Science and Technology Park, JUNHE Intelligent Technology, and Zhongshan Johnking Pharmaceutical.

The ceremony was held at Zhongshan Luhua Medical Treatment Instruments Co Ltd. The company mainly sells Class I medical devices, and optical instruments and products. The total land area of the project is 34.22 mu, and the current floor area ratio is 0.54. About 110 million yuan will be invested to build a 65,000-square-meter factory with high standards. After completion, the floor area ratio will be increased to 3.43, and the output value will exceed 100 million yuan with a tax revenue over 8 million yuan.

The other 3 projects also adjusted the floor area ratio to make more room for production without increasing land usage. About 400 million yuan will be invested in the Liansu Cross-Strait Science and Innovation Park Project, which will be mainly used for production, R&D and office use after renovation. Information technology, auxiliary equipment and electronic equipment enterprises will be brought in and a regional exchange platform for young prospects, technologies and projects will be established. The project aims to achieve an annual output value of 500 million yuan and an annual tax payment of 40 million yuan.
