Gangkou Town held the 2022 Economic and Trade Investment Promotion Fair and the Key Project Groundbreaking Ceremony on the morning of August 19.

During the fair, 22 projects signed contracts, involving an industrial land area of over 700 mu and a total investment of 4.6 billion yuan. These projects are expected to produce a total annual revenue of over 8.5 billion yuan and create more than 5,000 jobs after being put into operation.

The signed projects included 5 newly introduced industrial projects, 7 emerging business type projects and 10 investment and production expansion projects of local enterprises.

Five of the emerging business type projects are related to automobile trade enterprises, including 4 from new energy vehicle brands NIO, BYD, Xpeng and ZEEKR and 1 from the South China Sales Headquarters of the New Qijiang Auto City.

In addition, 16 projects started construction at the same time, involving a land development area of about 450 mu and a total planned investment of 2.9 billion yuan.
