On December 30, 2024, Phase One of the EFI digital industrial park in East District was topped out, and Phase Two started construction.

As the first industry-to-industry industrial park renovation project in East District, it will be built into a modern industrial park with focus on the digital industry, cross-border integration, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The EFI park is adjacent to the Qijiang New Town Station of the Nansha-Zhongshan intercity railway, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan. Covering a land area of 89,000 square meters, it is divided into two zones.

Zone A is the core area of the park, undertaking such functions as research and development, management, and service. It is expected to be delivered as early as June this year. Zone B is the production area, suitable for various enterprises' intelligent production, intelligent manufacturing, and the commercialization of R&D achievements. It is expected to be topped out by December this year.

Upon full completion, the park will provide more than 5,000 jobs and generate an annual output value of 1.6 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of 67 million yuan.

On that day, 8 enterprises in such fields as intelligent manufacturing, cloud computing and new energy reached cooperation intentions with the park.
