Wind power industry has once again attracted Prime Wen's attention. He paid the visit to Mingyang Datong Wind Power Co. Ltd. in Jilin Province. He paid special attention to the domestic search and development of wind power as well as its market; moreover, he put forward seven suggestions as follow:

First, it is a global trend to develop clean and renewable energy. Second, China has the natural conditions to develop wind power. Third, we have the industrial foundation and strength to develop it. Fourth, we should make a further study for the distribution and proportion of the energy development, and make an overall plan for its development. Fifth, the gross capacity of wind energy industry should be adapted to the needs of the markets, in order to prevent the surplus of power generation. Sixth, it is important to focus on the research and study of the integrate wind power with electricity grid. Seventh, the development of wind power should be reasonable to maintain the sustainable development, and not to develop blindly.

It is reported that wind power becomes a new trend of global new energy industry, so the national policies have been strengthened to support its development. At the fourth Conference (expansion) of the Twelfth Session of Chinese Communist Party Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee, It is confirmed that the city should foster a new way of economic growth, and promote the upgrading of the industrial structure.

Meanwhile, some enterprises, including Mingyang, China Machine, and China State Shipbuilding Corporation etc. should be leading ones to improve infrastructure construction, and to upgrade the development of wind power facilitates.
