With the success of Green Road Project by Guangdong Province, Zhongshan City will put the project further and build a green road network in the city and communities. Yesterday afternoon, a work conference was held and decided that Zhongshan would strive to finish the main road part of the project at the end of this June. And then a leisure-traffic system would be built for green commuting.
In Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng’s words, green road was an important project to improve people’s living conditions and beautiful city scenery as well. He required a good balance in various relationships concerning roads, citizens and environment. The final purpose is to build a leisure-traffic system and guarantee the safety of travelers.
