Zhongshan Torch Industry Group and Zhongshan Public Utilities Group signed an agreement with Hefei Yuanli Zonghe Energy Technology Co to jointly build the first high-quality zero-carbon park demonstration project in Zhongshan's Torch Development Zone.

The three companies will advance the construction of the integrated energy and carbon management platform, the region-level virtual power plant and other core sections of the park in phases, building it into a demonstration zero-carbon park with policy support, technologies, balanced funds and operation services.

The park will enhance energy efficiency through optimizing the smart power grid, using renewable energy and developing carbon assets to lay the energy foundation for TDZ to build the "Optical Valley" and "Wisdom Valley" in the Greater Bay Area.

Under this strategic cooperation, Zhongshan Torch Industry Group will offer local operation experience and industrial policy support, Zhongshan Public Utilities Group will coordinate and integrate resources in distributed photovoltaic power generation, energy storage and smart power network, and Hefei Yuanli Zonghe Energy Technology Co will provide solutions in terms of minute-level load response, green electricity trading and carbon asset development basing on its world's leading AI virtual power plant technology.
