At the provincial video and telephone conference of afforestation yesterday afternoon, Mayor Chen Liangxian made request on Zhongshan’s afforestation work when he was present at the Zhongshan session.

Chen said that a new round of afforestation should soon be launched in the city to realize the goal of constructing Zhongshan a National Forest City. Towns should put emphasis on the work of afforestation and complete related projects. The afforestation work manifests the idea of “Green development and benefit people ecologically ” and will set up an image of the city – “City in forest and forest in the city”.
