A livability index report of cities in China was recently released. Zhongshan made the list, ranking fifteenth nationwide.
On December 2, the 6th China City Construction Summit & International Urban Development Seminar was held in Beijing, where the report was released.
The report is based on global standards for analyzing livability, compiled through data based on professional algorithms and simulations. It focuses on showcasing the efforts and achievements made by cities across China in livable construction.
In recent years, Zhongshan has been promoting ecological construction and has put great efforts in protecting clear water, blue sky and clean land. Through the implementation of such campaigns as rural revitalization and high-quality development, Zhongshan has seen continuous optimization and improvements in its living environment.
