Under the blue sky and white clouds, the brand-new glazed tiles complemented the colorful and vivid wall paintings. The folk culture stories on the tiles closely related to the local stories presented on the wall.

Since the beginning of this year, Chongtou Village in Shaxi Town has created unique and popular wall murals over the last half year. They combined the historical stories, cultural heritage and architectural features of the village, and collected opinions and suggestions from folk experts and local villagers through interviews. The walls have become another beautiful cultural landscape in Shaxi Town, and an learning resource for local education and family tradition inheritance.

On the afternoon of September 11, students from Kangle Primary School in Shaxi Town came to village park for an extracurricular activity. They were the first guests to visit these new historical and cultural wall paintings.
