The autumn equinox came on September 22, along with the 3rd Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival as promised. In Tanzhou Town of Zhongshan, 1,400 mu (about 9333 hectares) of rice awaited harvest, with an estimated yield of 400 kilograms per mu.

In order to celebrate the annual Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, this year Zhongshan holds a celebration in Wusha Village, Henglan Town on the morning of September 23. The celebration will include interesting and joyous farms, picturesque villages, fresh and delicious agricultural products in Zhongshan, and even listening to the salty water folk songs that are full of the rich character of waterside villages.

At the celebration site, a signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreements, an awards ceremony for demonstration family farms and farmers' cooperatives, and offers for agricultural science and technology commissions will also be held to fully display the achievements of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" in various forms.
