As an artificial lake in the urban area of Zhongshan, Yixian Lake was not connected with other water network originally. According to the Detailed Planning and Adjustment of Zhongshan Yixian Lake Area released by the Municipal Rural and Urban Planning Bureau, a large-scaled adjustment of utilization status in Yixian Lake area will be made as a 300-meter water will connect Yixian Lake with Qijiang River to bring flowing water in the lake.
